Roanoke Team-Rain or Shine

We had an wonderful week with the Roanoke team and we’re thankful for all that was accomplished during their week here.

Saturday we finished the school roof of a local job. The previous team from Pinetta worked on half the roof two weeks earlier, and we were able to complete it with the Roanoke team.

Up it goes! Although it rained most of Tuesday morning, the work was still accomplished.

Up it goes! Although it rained most of Tuesday morning God provided enough time to finish the job. We had to move inside once the rain came. God provided enough of the roof covered that we could still work!

As the last pieces of tin were being places, the pastor, along with several church members stood under the new roof while giving God praise. It was a blessing to hear the prayers of thanks and songs on joy as they celebrated the finished church!

Thanks to the Roanoke group that came and gave of their time to serve in Haiti. We enjoyed a wonderful week with you all!
