Lake City Team

We had a fun and blessed week with the Lake City team from Florida. We were able to help the community of Darol by covering the addition to their school roof.  It was a beautiful and remote little town right off the southern coast.

The school addition we added will hopefully allow more children receive a education, and learn about Jesus.

The community we worked in had several people who were members at one point, and have since left. Please pray for healing in their lives, and a decision to serve the Lord again.

We had enough time on Monday to explore the coast. It was so beautiful!!

We were reminded again how much power the ocean has!

We were reminded again how much power the ocean has as the waves crashed against the cliff walls.

After we arrived back at the compound, we also took an afternoon to hike around these beautiful falls. Haiti has so many beautiful places to offer!

Thankful for the town of Darol where we were able to work at, and for the people there who touched our lives. After leaving a community, I’m always amazed at how they touch my life…simply by their contentment with the life they have, even if it’s not always the most comfortable.

Thanks for reading, and have a blessed week!

Thank you for all the wonderful deeds you do! I am in the a nursing home appt., but I still enjoy hearing what the young folks are doing. The Lord will continue to bless you and keep joy in your hearts!
