Ohio Work Team

We were once again blessed to have another construction team here last week. The team of twelve worked hard and completed several roofs during their week here.

It was-again-a beautiful ride out to the job site.

At the first job we covered two small school buildings and replaced the old tin on the church.

Another wonderful Sunday afternoon to visit the elderly, and shut-ins! This poor women has been unable to walk for a long time. Her daughter is completely dedicated to caring for her ill mother, and does it with such a joyful attitude! She was such an inspiration!

While out visiting, we passed by this gentleman's home. As we walked by, the pastor asked him if he was ready to surrender his life to the Lord. He promptly replied "No, I'm not yet ready". The pastor told us he has had many conversations to with him about salvation, but the man always replied "I'm not ready". On our way back, we passed by the same man. As soon as we reached him he shouted to the pastor "I'm READY! Ready to give my life to the Lord". The excitement on both the mans face, and the pastors was really awesome to witness. Praise God for saving another lost soul!

Monday went by fast as they put tin on the two schools, and replaced the old tin on the church. We ladies also finished painting the ten benches. We consumed a lot of gatorade that day! :)

We were thankful to finish that job safely, and arrive back at the compound that night.

The next job was an extension of an existing school roof. It only took a day, so we were back home that evening.

The men did a great job on the roof, and us girls had a great time with the kids.

Thankful for the Lords provision and protection during the week with the Ohio team.  We need and appreciate your prayers during this busy team season. It’s not by our own strength but by Gods alone!
