Eureka Bible Church

This week we were privileged to host a new team from the Eureka Illinois area.  They were a wonderful group of Christians, and it was great to serve the Haitians with them. Scott and Brent geared up for another 10 hour drive to the Les Irois (Pronounced: Lazy Wah) area. This job was a short distance from the job we did only a week ago with the Bluffton team.

Sharing the Jesus Film with the community. We had around 150+ and it was very well received. Thankful for the Lords provisions!

The guys enjoyed playing a game of soccer with the Haitians. It was our team/staff vs. a Haitian group. It was fun to watch!

The men worked great together and finished the roof in record time!

It’s amazing how quickly it all comes together. This roof was done before lunch!

The bench assembly went good as well. We built 16 benches before lunch, and had some great Haitian help. We had a crew building, sanding, and varnishing the benches all at once.

This spider was huge! Todd was the brave one...although this was right before it breathed its last:)

With each team that comes, also comes many good-byes. Sometimes as missionaries its hard to see people come and go so quickly.  We are thankful though, to have the opportunity to meet so many new people, and become better acquainted with those we previously knew.

We were so blessed and encouraged by this team, and hope they can return next year!
