We were blessed to have a large team from Bluffton Indiana this past week. We appreciated each person that came down to give of themselves and their talents.
Enjoying the beautiful scenery along the 10 hour drive to the job site.
It’s always a special time to minister to the shut-ins after Sunday services.
This lady touched many of our hearts. One year ago she unexpectedly lost the ability to speak. After we sang and prayed with her, she simply sat and wept. The pastor explained to us the burden she carries for her unsaved husband. We pray that her witness-although not verbal-can impact him to see the love Jesus has for him. Please pray with us in lifting this mans soul to the Lord!
As we walked along the beach, these two children shared with me their family story. They are from a family of six boys, and four girls. Their father died a year ago, and their mother is left to care for her ten children alone. I couldn’t help to think what a hard life they must have. I was thankful to hear their whole family attends church though! Please pray that God will give this single mother strength.
The ladies worked hard on the new benches!
Working on the truses
The beautiful new roof! The team did an awesome job working together to build the roof and benches.
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14. This team did a wonderful job interacting with the children in the community. Lots of precious giggles and smiles!
Haiti truly is a beautiful place!
We praise God for the safe week as we served Him in Les Irois(Pronounced: Lazy Wah). Thanks for your continued prayers!
